We only collect the data we need to respond to your enquiry and to deliver our services.

When you complete our site survey form, call us or email us, we may collect:

• Your postcode and, where relevant, the full site address
• Details of the work you are enquiring about
• Any other information you choose to include in your message

Data collected automatically

When you visit this website we may automatically collect technical and usage data, including your IP address, device and browser type, approximate location, the pages you view, how long you spend on them and how you arrived at the site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies — see section 7.

Data we do not collect

We do not knowingly collect special category data (such as health, religious or biometric data), and we do not collect payment card details through this website.

• Service providers who host and run this website — including Netlify, which hosts the site and processes form submissions, and Cloudflare, which manages our domain and provides security
• Analytics and advertising providers — Google, where you have consented to analytics and advertising cookies
• Suppliers and subcontractors — where they need your details to deliver part of your project, such as delivery of equipment to your site
• Professional advisers — accountants, insurers and legal advisers where required
• Regulators and authorities — where we are legally required to disclose information

All of our processors are required to keep your data secure and to use it only for the purposes we specify.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers are based outside the UK. Where your data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an approved adequacy decision.

6. How long we keep your data

• Enquiries that do not become jobs: up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted
• Customer and job records: 6 years after the end of our relationship, to meet accounting and contractual requirements
• Safety and installation documentation: retained for the life of the installation where required for safety and maintenance purposes
• Website analytics data: retained in line with the settings of our analytics provider, typically no more than 14 months

Our services are directed at property owners and businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Other websites

This website contains links to third party sites, including our social media pages. This policy does not cover those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their own policies before providing them with personal data.
