Every driveway is different. We survey the site properly, then design around what is actually there: the fall of the ground, the width, the posts, where the power is and how you will use it.
Entrance and driveway gates
Pairs of gates sized to your opening, in steel and wrought iron styles, with plain, arched or ornate tops. Designed around your entrance before anything is made.
Automated estate gates
Automation designed in from the start, with safety edges and photocells fitted and the finished gate force tested. Opened by remote, keypad or intercom.
Field and farm gates
Galvanised steel field gates for farm tracks, paddocks and estate entrances, hung on posts set to carry the weight.
Pedestrian and side gates
Side gates and walk-through gates made to match the main entrance, with a quality lock.
Steel and wrought iron
Strong and secure, with the classic look many older houses call for. Fabricated in our own workshop and powder coated to your colour.

How it works
No pressure, no salesman, and a fixed written price before anything is ordered.
- Site survey. We come out, measure properly, check ground conditions and power, and talk through how you want to use the gate.
- Written proposal. A clear specification and a fixed price, valid for 30 days. Nothing hidden.
- 30% deposit secures your installation date. The remaining 70% is due on completion, not before.
- Manufacture and installation by our own engineers, in our own workshop and on your site.
- Safety, testing and handover. Automated gates are force tested to BS EN 12453 and 12445, a Declaration of Conformity is issued, and we show you how everything works.

How long from survey to installation?
Made-to-measure steel and aluminium gates are fabricated in our own workshop, so we control the lead time. You get a realistic date with the quote, not a vague promise.
Do I need planning permission for a gate?
Usually not. Gates up to 2 metres away from a road, or up to 1 metre next to one, normally do not need it. Listed buildings and conservation areas can be different, and we will tell you at the survey.
Can I have it manual now and automate it later?
Yes. We can hang the gate ready for automation, with the posts, hinges and power provision in place, so adding a motor later is straightforward.
What materials do you work in?
Steel, aluminium, composite and timber. We will recommend the one that suits your entrance and budget rather than the one we happen to have in stock.
