Every driveway is different. Our own gate fitters survey the site properly, then we make the gate in our Bradford workshop and fit it ourselves: posts, hardware, groundwork and automation if you want it. One firm, one fixed price.
Driveway gates
Swing or sliding, single or double, manual or electric. Made to measure for your opening and hung on proper posts, with a quality lock as standard.
Manual gates
Garden gates, side gates, driveway gates and field gates, hung on proper posts and hardware, with a quality lock. Simple, solid and built to last.
Automatic gates
Swing or sliding, opened from a remote, keypad, intercom or your phone. Every automated gate is force tested and handed over with the safety paperwork.
Composite gates
A big favourite. The look of timber with none of the upkeep: no painting, no warping, no rot. Available manual or automated. See our composite gates.
Estate gates

Steel gates

How it works
No pressure, no salesman, and a fixed written price before anything is ordered.
- Site survey. We come out, measure properly, check ground conditions and power, and talk through how you want to use the gate.
- Written proposal. A clear specification and a fixed price, valid for 30 days. Nothing hidden.
- 30% deposit secures your installation date. The remaining 70% is due on completion, not before.
- Manufacture and installation by our own engineers, in our own workshop and on your site.
- Safety, testing and handover. Automated gates are force tested to BS EN 12453 and 12445, a Declaration of Conformity is issued, and we show you how everything works.
The automation we fit
Only the best motors: Benincà, Nice and BFT
Every gate we automate is fitted with a Benincà, Nice or BFT motor and control system. They are the three makes the industry trusts, they are built to last, and each comes with a proper manufacturer warranty: 30 months on Benincà, three years on Nice and BFT, and BFT extend it to five years with an annual service.
Plenty of firms fit cheaper unbranded imports to win the job on price. We do not. We would rather fit the right kit once, with a warranty that means something, than cut corners you pay for later. Quality over margin, every time.

The questions we get asked most
How much does a new gate cost?
It depends on size, material and whether it is automated, so we do not guess. The survey is free, and you get a written price with the options set out so you can compare.
How long from survey to installation?
Made-to-measure steel and aluminium gates are fabricated in our own workshop, so we control the lead time. You get a realistic date with the quote, not a vague promise.
Do I need planning permission for a gate?
Usually not. Gates up to 2 metres away from a road, or up to 1 metre next to one, normally do not need it. Listed buildings and conservation areas can be different, and we will tell you at the survey.
Can I have it manual now and automate it later?
Yes. We can hang the gate ready for automation, with the posts, hinges and power provision in place, so adding a motor later is straightforward.
What materials do you work in?
Steel, aluminium and composite. We do not make timber gates: if you like the look of wood without the upkeep, composite is the answer. We will recommend the one that suits your entrance and budget rather than the one we happen to have in stock.
Do you supply and fit?
Yes. We make the gate and our own team fits it, so one firm is responsible for the whole job, from the survey to the handover.
