- Site specific risk assessment before design, not after installation.
- Force testing to BS EN 12453 and BS EN 12445 with recorded results.
- Technical file and Declaration of Conformity under the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
- Written user instructions including manual release, for anyone operating the gate.
- Planned maintenance with documented visits to keep the system compliant.
